When I came to the shelter I was angry, I didn't trust any of the people at the shelter and I would hiss and swat at anyone who tried to touch me. I have come an extremely long way from this & have started to trust some of these people enough to accept pets and even a few head scratches! I still have some work to do and am looking for someone patient. I promise I am worth the work!

I can be quite a shy kitty and often hide when the humans host adoption events. Despite my shyness I am an extremely gentle kitty and just require some patience to build a foundation of trust. My human friends at the shelter see through my run and hide facade to the part of me that craves love and affection. Once I warm up I enjoy head scratches & I think in a loving home I would transform into a loving member of your family!

I came into the shelter with my litter of kittens & extremely scared of people. I worked hard to be a good mom and all of my babies got adopted. My human friends at the shelter have worked hard to help me warm up & I have been making great progress. I still have a tendency to run away but have shown a few volunteers how much I love head scratches. In a home with more consistency and some patience, I would open up even more!

I am a very playful boy who is getting a little bit restless in the shelter... I am starting to get a little bit aggressive, but the people at the shelter really think I just need to get into a home! I was super sweet when I came in and still have my very sweet and playful moments - this just isn't the place for me.

I am still quite scared and haven't been overly accepting of pets, though a couple of the volunteers have gotten some light pets in. I tend to hide from humans but get along really well with other cats. I will need someone with patience to help me unlearn my fear.

I am slowly starting to come around - which is a huge leap from when I arrived at the shelter. I was very scared and hissed a lot at the volunteers. In the months I have been at the shelter I have really enjoyed hanging out with my other kitty friends and they have helped me start to come out of my shell. I will walk around near your feet and sniff your hand, though I am not quite ready for pets yet.

I have spent most of my life at the shelter... I came in as a kitten and was the last one to be adopted out of all the kittens that were there with me. Sadly that home didn't work out for me and I have found myself back at the shelter. I am a sweet boy who can be a little shy but am so loving once comfortable. I am so loving! I great everyone at the door and follow them while they work because I just love everyone so much! I currently have a lion haircut because I was so matted when I came in - but everyone says it makes me look handsome.

I have beautiful long black hair and piercing amber eyes! I am extremely scared still and tend to run from the volunteers, but I am just frightened and don't want to hurt them! With some consistent love and patience I think I could really warm up and live a great life in a home!

I am still weary of humans but I am slowly coming around! My feline friends at the shelter have really helped me with that - I love to play and chat and I even let some of the volunteers pet me (this is new to me!). Everyone says I look like a Panther - I think that means I am handsome! I will need patience as I slowly learn to accept love.
